Born in the early 1960s, Rolling Stones era, in Atlanta, GA, D. Logan Foster began craving the guitar at birth. Having a shielded cable for an umbilical cord, it was only a matter of time before he began his quest for guitar greatness. His family relocated to North Carolina, where he was found with his father's fiddle held like a guitar. On more than one occasion, his mother dressed the blister on his thumb from playing his uncle's and cousin's bass and electric guitars. Then, at the age of three, his family relocated to the upstate region of South Carolina. Having left the fiddle for refinishing, he only got to explore his musical possibilities when visiting his grandparents. When he turned eight years old, his oldest brother received an acoustic guitar for Christmas. It was only a short time before he was wanting to borrow his brother's guitar. His mother showed him some basic chords and promised that if he learned to play, he would have an electric guitar very soon. Keeping their promise, his parents gave him an acoustic guitar for his birthday, and an electric guitar for Christmas. Practicing with his best friend, they soon formed a band, performing for their High School on various occasions and fund raisers. Having formed and joined many local bands and releasing two previous guitar albums on an independent label, D. Logan Foster hopes that you enjoy listening to this record as much as he enjoyed recording it.
